Mijn zoon Frodo heeft een prachtige kerst-song geschreven:  'Christmas Without You'. Ik nam de solo-gitaar voor mijn rekening en de backing-vocals. Met eenvoudige middelen maakten we enkele opnames. Elias Rommens werd onze producer, leidde de opnames en deed de mixing voor de definitieve 'single'. Doel: de single verkopen en de opbrengst voor het goede doel: het KHBObrugge-Music For Live- project.

It's supposed to be the happiest time of year
to get wishes from the ones who're dear
I try to let the spirit get grip on me
I've been staring for hours at this christmas tree

I wrote my cards and decked the halls
went out shopping at all the malls
I bought presents and I sleighed along
but I just keep hearing those sad christmas songs

They sing about the blue and lonely christmas
